FAQ

Questions about insulation in Beverages.

With a PTFE-fabric cover or stainless-steel mesh: yes. With standard glass fabric we recommend removing the insulation for CIP cleaning of the valve.

EHEDG compliance primarily concerns the design of the valves themselves. Our insulation is designed to allow access for EHEDG-compliant cleaning.

For wineries we recommend stainless-steel mesh (robust, durable) or white PTFE glass fabric (light, hygienic). Both are resistant to wine and cleaning agents.

Yes, for series orders (e.g. 50 identical fermentation tanks) we manufacture uniform insulation mats in batches – with a volume discount.
